Julia Pieper, an international Yoga teacher from Mainz, Germany, holding a master’s degree in pedagogy and foreign language teaching. I decided to dedicate my life to the Yoga path by being a full-time yoga and mindfulness teacher, as well as constantly learning and growing myself.
My intention is to live life fully and to embrace it with an open heart!
Through doing so, I wish to inspire others.
Impressed by the transformative powers of Yoga, I would love to rise awareness and keep on moving forward into a world where we value consciousness and community, a world that becomes more social and sustainable.
Trained in Bali, Thailand, Mexico and Germany, I am influenced by different styles, teachers and perspectives. I mainly teach Vinyasa, Yin Yoga, Acro Yoga and Jupie Yoga Flow (mostly indicated as Mindful Flow).
The way I teach is marked by creativity and playfulness. My openness, love for details and sensitivity allow me to understand the different needs in diverse groups and to provide options and individual adjustments accordingly in an empathetic and loving way. I implement new ideas, modern alignment, vivid metaphors, massages and the sound of my violin to accompany you on your Yoga journey.
What if we compare practicing yoga with playing music?
Being raised in a family of musicians, I used to spend a lot of time playing and practicing the violin. A regular practice is important and contributes to continuous progress.
What if we celebrate every little step forward? What if we practice for the joy of practicing itself? What if we fear less and feel more?
As a Yoga teacher, I enjoy sharing ideas, techniques and inspiration that work for me when I play my instrument...
I prefer not to simply click the play button and listen to the same playlist over and over again, but to have a fun live-jam session where everyone is free to explore their own rhythm and come up with beautiful new melodies… melodies that don’t ask to be judged, that allow us to learn how to expect less, appreciate more and embrace the surprise!
